Melissa presented on a leaders perspective, strategic activities and lessons learned from Leading in a Start-Up Hospital Environment.  New hospitals don’t spring up all that often-especially here on the east coast, where real estate is limited!  Forget a moment the need for space and funding.  Melissa in her presentation discussed the preparation and planning that must occur before a patient ever steps in the facility.
