Membership Information
As of January 1, 2008, all members of The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) are automatically members of NCHE if they work in the NCHE service area (Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia) or if they notify AHCE that they wish to be affiliated with this chapter. As a result, as of January 1, 2008, NCHE no longer charged local chapter dues nor accepted applications for NCHE-only membership.
If you paid your annual NCHE membership dues before January 1, 2008 for any or all of calendar year 2008, you will continue to enjoy NCHE membership benefits until your NCHE membership year expires or December 31, 2008, whichever comes first.
For information on how to become an ACHE member and be affilated with the NCHE chapter, go to www.ache.org.
Life members of the NCHE Chapter with the local benefits of chapter membership will not be charged local chapter or ACHE dues. NCHE Chapter Members Emeritus are not affiliates of ACHE and are not eligible for any benefits as an ACHE affiliate, including voting rights and the right to hold elected office within ACHE. Chapters could nominate individuals for this status subject to approval by ACHE up until January 31, 2008.
Regardless of your membership status, you may still participate in NCHE events and be actively involved in NCHE affairs. For more information, contact the NCHE Membership Director, Richard A. Christiansen II, at Richard.Christiansen@Inova.org.
